Hello!
My name is Nancy Jiang. I'm a current student at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism studying business, data, and audio storytelling. I graduated from Boston University with degrees in journalism and political science, as well as Townsend Harris High School and JHS 189 in Flushing. I've previously covered personal finance for Forbes Advisor and was an entertainment and music journalist for three years. I specialize in the humanities — anything from creative writing, languages, and history — but am skilled in math and science as well. While working with students, I am intent on helping them build organizational skills and habits that will last them through schooling, into their lifetimes. In addition to Big Sibs courses, I also have expertise with college essay and application help as the recipient of two collegiate scholarships, public speaking, investigative news writing with an eye for data, and Latin.
