Hello! My name is Patricia Kuster. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stony Brook University in 2022 with a BS in Sociology and Psychology and a minor in Biology. At Stony Brook, I worked as a Precalculus, Calculus I and Calculus II tutor for three years for the university’s Educational Opportunity Program. I also served as a teaching assistant in organic chemistry, precalculus, and calculus courses.
For the last two years, I have worked as a 6th/8th grade classroom math teacher at a public charter school in Newark. While working as a classroom teacher, I’ve engaged in lesson planning, lesson differentiation, and improved my communication with middle-school students.
I have also been a tutor with Big Sib Tutors since September of 2020. During my time here, I have tutored students in countless subjects, ranging from second grade math to regents physics. I have especially enjoyed working with high-schoolers on math/science regents and SAT prep, but I’m open to working with students of any age.
Hello! I'm Will McMahan. I graduated from NYU Tisch in 2021 and I've been working as an actor and educator since. I've worked as a classroom teacher, substitute, and specials teacher at the elementary level for over 3 years, and spent my summers in college mentoring high school students for educational theater training and leadership roles. I'm confident that my experience working full-time with students of all ages will help your child achieve their academic goals. I'm happy to help with foundations of STEM and humanities classes as well as preparing for standardized exams like regents, SAT, etc. Education's always been a part of my life, and I look forward to continuing that journey with you!
